Rockstar Games reportedly investigating the source of leak
According to a new report from Bloomberg, Rockstar Games senior management is working hard to identify the person who shared new GTA 6 leaks online.
The report also suggest that the individual is still active and might have access to the early working build of the game. It is just not the pre-recorded footage.
This has increasingly raised the concerns inside the company, especially this marks as the second major GTA 6 leaks in the recent years.
Rockstar Games is surely treating this matter with utmost important right now, while also continuing the development of the game, as the game is still launching on November 19, 2026.
Despite the recent leaks situation, the report suggest that both Netflix and Rockstar Games reveal for Extended Look is schedule for August 27, 2026 and won’t face any delay.

Developers are frustrated
The report from Bloomberg also tells that the developers are frustrated and feeling exhausted. They have been asked previously to return to office five days a week in a effot to reduce the risk of future leaks.
Despite the tougher rules being introduced at work, the other leak was said to have happened as well, leaving many workers downhearted.
Another internal e-mail from one of Rockstar’s top executives sent to the developers, Schreier says, denounced the leak but thanked them for their work, noting that it was unlikely to have a negative impact on any of their efforts.
While GTA 6 isn’t said to be fully complete, it is said to be in the final stages of development as the team organs are gearing up for launch later this year.
