This is about the “next-gen procedural breakable glass” on their LinkedIn profile. It appears that this programmer played an important part in designing and implementing this system, specifically for vehicles and environmental props.

What is Procedural Breakable Glass?

This is not a pre-scripted destruction system; instead, this dynamically reacts to impacts in real-time. So, what does this mean?

This means that every shatter, crack and fragmentation could look unique depending on how and where the glass was hit.

If the reports are true, then surely this will take the GTA 6 realism to a whole other level. Imagine smashing car windows during a heist or watching debris scatter during high-speed chases. This level of detail and realism could also provide a cinematic, realistic experience while playing the game.
