New leaks reveal Trevor’s alternate Option A ending
According to the new leaks that have resurfaced on the internet, Rockstar originally planned a much darker ending for Trevor Philips during the Option A ending.
In the final version, Trevor crashes into an oil tanker before beign set on fire. But, according to the leaked dialogues, it appears that Rockstar had a completely different idea.
Instead of an oil tanker, Trevor would have crashed into a truck that is carrying liquid nitrogen.
This would have frozen him solid before his body shattered into pieces. Although this dialogue appeared in the file development, this content was never made or included in the final game.

Massive leak reveals GTA content that was cut
Apart from Trevor’s ending, the leaked data also contains around 192 GB of GTA 5 development material. Here’s what the files include:
- Unused dialogue from GTA 5
- Cut missions and gameplay concepts
- Scrapped vehicles and assets
- References to Agent Trevor content
- Early DLC development material
- Possible early GTA 6 files
Another interesting detail that was found in the leaks was that Brucie Kibbutz from GTA 4 was originally planned to appear in GTA 5’s single-player campaign.
He might have shared the mission with Franklin, but those plans were dropped during development.
Liberty City DLC
In the leaks, there are also details about the cancelled Liberty City expansion for GTA 5. Apart from this, the data miners also found the low-quality map assets that are believed to be connected to GTA 6.
For now, nothing is officially confirmed by Rockstar Games and they have not released any official statement regarding the new leaks.
Was Trevor originally supposed to die differently in GTA 5?
According to leaked development dialogue, yes. Rockstar reportedly considered having Trevor crash into a liquid nitrogen truck, freezing and shattering instead of the oil tanker explosion seen in the final game.
Does the leak include GTA 6 content?
Reports suggest the archive contains some early GTA 6-related assets alongside unused GTA 5 files. However, Rockstar has not verified the authenticity or significance of these materials.
Was GTA 5 going to receive a Liberty City DLC?
The leaked files reportedly reference a cancelled Liberty City expansion for GTA 5, but Rockstar never officially announced or confirmed such a project.
