Some of the selected content creators got the chance to visit Rockstar North, where they got the chance to get their hands on an impression of GTA 6. TGG was one of the creators, and he revealed new details that were not shown in the Extended Look.
This time, this is more about the vast and immersive open world that we are going to experience. Let’s check out more details in this article.
Catch Every Update, Anytime, Anywhere
Hundreds of Interiors & more interactive safehouses
TGG has revealed that there will be hundreds of enterable interiors. Players can expect that you can explore 100 buildings or even more across the whole map.
Safehouses are also receiving a major upgrade in GTA 6. You can now perform everyday activities like eating snacks, shaving in the bathroom and changing your hairstyle at your home. You can cut your hair short in the safehouse, but growing it back will take some time.
During development, Rockstar reportedly tried out a grocery shopping system but it proved too complicated. But it is still possible for players to buy snacks, drinks and other consumables all over the world.
Fast Travel, phone apps & social media
Leonida will be big and getting around will be made easy thanks to several fast travel methods. Players will be able to use buses, trains, taxis and RydeMe, which is similar to Uber.
One of the new additions is Scooter Bros, which lets players summon their own vehicle directly to them, a feature that was not available in GTA 5’s single-player mode.
The in-game smartphone has also been enriched with apps like BuckMe, RydeMe, Scooter Bros, WhatUp, Waink, Snapmatic and even a dedicated fitness app.
There is now a revamped social media system in GTA 6. You can see NPCs posting updates actively online and some of the posts correspond to real-time events happening across the map. You can track this and may find or witness some key moments unfold naturally in the game.

GTA 6 with a bigger world & more activities
TGG also revealed that there are several new activities. This includes a fully explorable zoo, improved television programming with professionally animated shows, and on-demand podcasts alongside traditional radio stations.
