Understanding Rockstar’s Communication Strategy

Rockstar Games have always been secretive when it comes to GTA 6. They maintained their silence till the first trailer in December 2023. It was also because of the leaks that they needed to take that action.

Some fans believe Rockstar is set to release a second trailer in late January or early February 2025, which corresponds to Take-Two Interactive’s (T2) earnings report timeline. There are also rumors and hope that Rockstar might surprise fans with a November or December trailer 2 release.

GTA 6 release & delay to 2026?

Now many fans are thinking about if Rockstar and T2 decide to keep silent until the May report, this might suggest a delay in GTA 6’s release to spring 2026.

However, no official announcement has been issued to confirm the delay, which is consistent with their approach of not publicizing delays prematurely. Also, in the recent meeting, it was revealed that they are still on track with the Fall 2025 release of GTA 6.
