The fans are pretty hyped right now, as according to recent rumors, Halo Studios might have an announcement for the Halo World Championships in October.

Many rumors and fans are speculating that this might be related to a new Halo game or an update.

Previously, 343 Industries revealed its transition to Unreal Engine 5 and confirmed multiple new Halo projects in development.

More updates at Halo World Championships 2025?

Recently, in a YouTube video, Rebs Gaming revealed that Halo Studios is planning something big for the upcoming Halo World Championships 2025 in October.

Last year’s event showcased the studio’s rebrand, engine switch and multiple new titles. There is also some speculation that fans might see a new game or at least a teaser.

More exact details are still a mystery, however, this has excited the fanbase even more on Social Media and Reddit forums.

Earlier this month of May, fans also got to see a new update in Halo Infinite by Halo Studios, which introduced the Mutilator weapon, new playlists, operations, and more.

Here are the major highlights from the update:

• This weapon, which combines a double-barreled shotgun and a Gravity Hammer, has the ability to empty both shells using alternate fire mode. You can test it out in the exclusive Mutilator Madness mode or as a Power weapon in multiplayer games. It is also present in custom games and Forge.
• Other new additions include Firefight: Battle of the Academy, which pits players against the Banished when AI Iratus reveals the academy’s location. The Weapons Bench also lets you customize the MA5K Avenger, Needler, Shock Rifle, Mutilator, and Heatwave with different coatings, charms, and more.

At least for now, it is suggested to take this information with a grain of salt. Nothing has been officially confirmed by Halo Studios or Xbox.

However, the excitement is imminent and we can’t wait for the Halo World Championships 2025 in October and what surprises it is going to bring for the fans.
