The trailblazers are pretty excited as Mydei will be making his debut soon in Honkai Star Rail. He is one of the eight upcoming new characters from the Amphoreus region.

Possible release version and path leaks

The leaks have already started to resurface on the internet and it is expected that Mydei might be an Imaginary Destruction unit. This leak comes from the credible leaker of HSR, Seele Leaks.

This will add him alongside Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae who is the only character in the game with these abilities.

The leaks also suggest that he will make his debut in the 3.1 version alongside another character Tribbie, who is rumored to be a Quantum Harmony unit. It has been an interesting topic among the fans since people wanted to know how new characters would work within the context of the game.

Design and gameplay insights

Before, Seele Leaks shared a drawing of him which looked almost exactly like his final design, which HoYoverse later released. Uncle Guoba who is another leaker has revealed that this character might employ a strategy where he sacrifices his own HP to inflict damage on foes, reminiscent of a risky Curio from the Divergent Universe mode.

Mydei Character Lore

Mydeimos the Undying draws inspiration from Greek mythology. It comes specially from Deimos, the god of terror. His character in the game is an aggressive battle-hardened figure seeking strife and the “rightful crown.” This goes with his name and character reference from his mythology.

While leaks provide an intriguing insight into what might be, fans should take this information with a grain of salt until HoYoverse officially confirms it. This character’s unique path and prospective gameplay characteristics must present a fresh perspective to team building and tactics in HSR.
