How to pre-order PS5 Pro? Date, price & more

A week ago, Sony finally revealed the new PS5 Pro and the gaming industry had a very mixed reaction over it. Those who want the newest console want to know how they can pre-order. 

Sony’s newest console will release on November 7, 2024, officially and it will cost around USD 699. Let’s check out more information on pre-order, how you can do it and more details in this article.

From September 26, 2024, the pre-orders for PS5 Pro will be available directly on direct.playstation.com. For all the participant retailers who were not available before, the next pre-orders will be available on October 10, 2024. 

The cost for this new console will be:

• $699.99
• £699.99
• AU$1,200
• €799.99
• ¥119.980

It will officially launch on November 7, 2024.

Three things which makes it special

Spending $699.99 for a console that doesn’t even have a disc drive and a stand might be too costly for many people. Honetically, it isn’t that much of a difference, or on a whole another level from PS5. If you own a PS5, it’s okay not to buy one and save some money for the upcoming PS6. (My opinion)

If it’s going to be your first console, or you have money to spend, then you can go for it, as it will be a little better than the PS5. Here are three things that make it special, according to Sony PlayStation:

• Upgraded GPU: The GPU has been upgraded and Sony claims that PS5 Pro will give 45% faster rendering for gameplay and will make your experience smoother.
• Advanced Ray Tracing: Sony has added more advanced ray tracing which will provide more dynamic reflection and refraction of light. 
• AI-Driven Upscaling: They have introduced PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution which is an AI-driven upscaling. It uses a machine learning-based technology which provide super sharp image clarity by adding an extraordinary amount of detail.
