The game’s head developer Simon, has officially revealed that the Hytale Update 3 will release on February 17, 2026. This update will go live at 10:00 AM EST. Here are the timings based on different regions:
- US: 7:00 AM PST / 10:00 AM EST
- UK: 4:00 PM BST
- Saudi Arabia: 6:00 PM AST
- India: 8:00 PM IST
- China: 11:00 PM CST
- Japan: 12:00 AM JST (February 18)
- Australia (Sydney): 2:00 AM AEST (February 18)
Hypixel Studios can maintain its pace of production with minimal time between announcement and release. The team also mentioned that the initial pre-release of Update 4 will be released in the near future of Update 3.

What to expect in Hytale Update 3?
You can expect several gameplay enhancements and quality-of-life improvements. One of the most standout features is going to be the animal taming system.
You can discover animals favourit food items and sue them to easily tame the mobs. Some animals can also be milked, sheared, or ridden, adding more depth to survival gameplay.
There is also a new fire spread mechanic, which will provide more dynamic interactions with the environment. Goblin Flamethrower is also available in creative mode.
Players can also create and customize map markers. You can change their icon, color, and name. There is also a new tool: Sickle. With this, you can harvest crops much faster and can also collect multiple crops at the same time.
More expanded avatar customization and numerous bug fixes to improve the overall performance of the game will also be implemented in Hytale Update 3.
