Gamers and fans are all pretty excited right now as Insider Gaming has recently dropped some exclusive news and it is related to Insomniac’s Wolverine game.

According to them, there is a pretty good chance that Insomniac might showcase their upcoming Marvel game at next Sony State of Play.

Insomniac’s Wolverine game trailer

Insider Gaming has reported that Sony is looking forward to the next State of Play in late September 2025. They are almost certain that Insomniac’s Wolverine game trailer will be showcased.

If it still misses this opportunity, then it might get shifted to the Game Awards 2025. This game was first revealed at PlayStation Showcase in 2021 and after the leaks, it has been in a tough situtaion.

December 2023 ransomware attack that leaked employee data and gameplay footage really put the game in a difficult situation.

Despite that, it seems that Insomniac is now finally ready to reveal the official trailer or maybe potential gameplay pretty soon.

Apart from Wolverine, there is a pretty good chance that we might see more of Phanton Blade Zero. We still know that S-Game is going to announce the release date later this year.

If they reveal some of these games at the next State of Play, this might become one of the best showcases from Sony in the past few years.

Also, a deeper dive into Ghost of Yotei can be expected as it is the next exclusive title, which is releasing on October 2, 2025.
