The fans and gamers are pretty excited as the Kojima Productions studio is going to have some big plans for their upcoming 10th anniversary and many fans are speculating an OD game reveal.

To celebrate this, they are hosting a “Beyond the Strand” event, which will offer a sneak peek at the upcoming projects of the studio. Let’s check out more details in this article.

What to expect from Beyond the Strand event?

This event will be personally hosted by Hideo Kojima and feature a star-studded lineup with guest appearances. There is a pretty good chance that Norman Reedus might also join. Tickets for this event will go live from today, September 2, 2025.

The event will be hosted on September 23, 2025, at TOHO Cinemas Roppongi Hills SCREEN7, Tokyo, Japan.

This event will celebrate the studio’s 10th anniversary and will showcase the future projects. Most probably, we are going to see something related to OD game (Overdose), which was revealed at the Game Awards 2023.

We haven’t seen anything yet from this and now might be the perfect time for official footage or gameplay reveal.

There’s also talk of a possible Death Stranding 2 expansion; however, Kojima recently stated that a Death Stranding 3 may not come from him if it ever happens.

There is also another game, solo crafted by Kojima, Physint, a tactical espionage game, which is poised to be the successor to the Metal Gear franchise.

Final Thoughts

Just like me, many of the fans might be excited for the OD game reveal at the event. This is a very bizarre game that has some horror vibes to it.

It would also be interesting to see if Kojima Productions has something related to Death Stranding 2 or not. I don’t think we are going to see anything related to Physint for now.
