The Kingdom Hearts 4 deep dive panel is scheduled for August 15, 2026, and according to the official D23 app, it now includes the profile of co-director Tai Yasue, alongside longtime voice actors Haley Joel Osment and David Gallagher.

Osment has lent his voice to both Sora and Vanitas, and Gallagher is well known as Riku. It’s not all that surprising to see them be a part of this event, but what’s gotten the most attention is Yasue’s presence, as he is directly involved in the development of Kingdom Hearts 4.

For now, Square Enix has not announced what they will show at the panel, but many fans believe that the developer and co-director’s involvement may reveal some new details or offer a look at the game.

What to expect?

A brand-new trailer alongside some more gameplay for the game remains the best possibility. If not, then the panel may share some details about the Quadratum, which is the mysterious modern city that will serve as the game’s main setting.
