No Ultimate Team in Madden NFL 27 Arcade Edition
EA’s popular card-collecting mode, Ultimate Team, will not be a part of Arcade Edition. It heavily relies on microtransactions and it is not compatible with Apple Arcade’s business model.

- Quick Play
EA’s new Narrative Messaging System is added to Franchise Mode, which develops storylines dynamically throughout a season. Each playthrough is different due to player choices, team changes, and press coverage.
The player’s ratings will also receive weekly updates that will be based on real NFL performances. You can also look forward to monthly Franchise themes. This will be the first update of the Off-season scenario that will feature a fantasy draft.
In Quick Play, you can directly jump into fast-paced matches with your favourite NFL teams.
