NetEase and Marvel are going big in 2026 with Marvel Rivals. Recently, they have revealed an ambitious six-month crossover roadmap titled “Path to Doomsday.”
This celebrates the Marvel Studios Avengers film and builds the hype for the release of Avengers: Doomsday. This event will run from April to December 2026 and will feature limited-time mode, themed cosmetics & special in-game events inspired by the Infinity Saga.

Here is the full roadmap:
- The Avengers – April 2026
- Avengers: Age of Ultron – June 2026
- Avengers: Infinity War – August 2026
- Avengers: Endgame – October 2026
- Avengers: Doomsday – December 18, 2026
This event will end with a major in-game celebration, which is tied to the launch of Avengers: Doomsday. Although NetEase has not confirmed yet, many fans and rumors are sorrounding with Dr. Doom’s arrival as a playable character.
April event brings Loki vs. Heroes PvP mode
The first crossover in Marvel Rivals will start in April 2026, which is tied to the first Avengers movie.
It is a short-term asymmetrical PvP mode that matches a Loki player with six enemy heroes, recreating the central battle of the movie.
Loki will also be receiving a MCU inspired skin and an enhanced skill featuring illusions, deception tactics and infinity stone-themed powers.
Meanwhile, the opposition team players can unlock Hulk under certain conditions, recreating the film’s iconic moments.
Marvel Rivals Season 7 hero tease
Beyond the crossover, NetEase has also teased the upcoming hero for the next season. A “master thief and secret agent,” who is probably going to be Black Cat and White Fox.
These two characters have already been teased in the gallery card of Season 6. With so much amazing content arriving in 2026, Marvel Rivals is surely going to be amazing this year.
