Very good news for Marvel Rivals players and fans. The executive producer, Danny Koo, has recently shared that their team is currently working to bring the game to Nintendo Switch 2.
The game is growing in popularity and is easily one of the best and largest live-service games right now. There is no doubt that the player base will increase a lot once it is out for the Nintendo handheld console as well.

Marvel Rivals on Nintendo
This is a very big win for the Nintendo Switch owners. Recently, they have been getting many AAA and indie games, and now another big game has been added to the collection.
There is no doubt that this will increase the major player base for the game, alongside PC and console. The year 2026 has already been huge for the game.
The debut of Deadpool in January brought a lot of players to PC, as well as on consoles, and players experienced the dominance of Elsa Bloodstone in the game.
Currently, Season 7 has started and a new hero, White Fox, has been added to the game. Black Cat is also scheduled to join the roster in Season 7.5.
After some time, Nintendo owners will also be able to experience and enjoy Marvel’s hero 6v6 fights on their Switch 2 as well.
No plans for mobile version
While it is good news for the Switch owners, sadly, the mobile fans don’t share the same luxury. For now, Danny Koo has made it clear that a mobile port for Marvel Rivals is not in the works.
According to him, the game simply doesn’t translate well to the touchscreen controls. The fast-paced fights and precision required in a match would be simply too much to replicate for mobile devices for now.
But, if a mobile project ever happened, it would be a little different from the direct port of the game.
