Marvel Rivals: Emma Frost abilities, team-ups, skins & more

All over my Twitter and Instagram feed, there is only one thing going on and it’s Emma Frost’s debut in Marvel Rivals Season 2. There is no doubt that NetEase devs have gone all out when it comes to her character design because she looks absolutely gorgeous.

She is the new Vanguard in the game who will debut on April 11, 2025, alongside the new Krakao map. Let’s check out more details in this article.

Emma Frost abilities

Role: Vanguard, HP: 650

She has two forms, human form and diamond form, which can be changed by using the shift ability.

Human Form

• Left Click – Psychic Ray (Rapid Fire psychic beam)
• Right-click – Psychic Barrier that can block projectiles (500 HP barrier that can be manually positioned with hold input and called back)
• E – Mind Crush pulls out a totem to attack that damages the enemy if destroyed

Diamond Form

• Left Click – Punches (melee only)
• Right-click – Diamond Kick, which knocks back and damages if they hit a wall
• E – Diamond Back Slam

Ultimate (Q)

The ability video reveals that her ultimate power is Mind Control. Her ultimate activates a ranged AoE, mind-controlling adversaries in front of her and forcing them to walk toward Emma. This is an excellent crowd control skill that could greatly expand the possibilities—either to team wipe or to create a window for massive team combinations.

Team-Up

Emma Frost will be the anchor for the team-up ability with Magneto and Psylocke. The video demonstrates that Psylocke and Magneto can use the White Queen’s telepathic power to create illusionary projections of themselves. However, it appears that the illusions will not cause harm, therefore, they are merely intended to create distractions.

According to leaks, it is also expected that Emma Frost will get a new skin, X-Revolution, which will be available in the bundle that can cost up to 1600-2400 units. You can also expect an alternate skin version as well.
