Marvel Rivals Season 5.5 countdown: Timings, server downtime, Twitch drops & more

Get ready for some Rogue and Gambit combo!

The fans and gamers are pretty excited for the upcoming Marvel Rivals Season 5.5, which is dropping on December 12, 2025. Rogue is the new Vanguard character, who will be joining the roster tomorrow.

Apart from this, there are new skins, a new battle pass skin event, new adjusted team-ups and more will be available from tomorrow. Let’s check out more details about the new season in this article.

Timings, server maintenance & downtime for Marvel Rivals Season 5.5

Marvel Rivals Season 5.5 will start from December 12, 2025, at 9 AM UTC. The server will go down for maintenance for 2 hours. After two hours, you will be able to play the new season.

If there are any changes to maintenance or schedule, we will update the information live.

What’s new in Season 5.5?

First and foremost is the newest Vanguard, Rogue, who will be joining the roster. She is a melee-based tank who have abilities to steal enemies’ abilities, drain their ult charge and more.

There is also a new event, Seed of the Gardener. This is going to feature three new skins, Iron Mark II (free), Iron Fist Shenloong champion (Premium) and Captain America Capwolf (Premium).

New Savage Rogue and Thief Guild Rocket skin will also be available. New heroes have been added to Take a seat emote. Rogue emote bundle and new recolor skin.

Jeff Break Time and Van Dyne’s: Grand Opening event has been extended until January 1, 2026. For the new Gold rank reward, we have Rogue Queen’s defense costume.

Bugs, buffs and nerfs are also added to the current roster. You can read the patch notes on the official website.

Marvel Rivals Season 5.5 Twitch Drops

New Twitch Drops for Marvel Rivals Season 5.5 will start from December 12, 2025 at 12:00 UTC and will last until January 9, 2026 at 9:00 UTC.

By simply watching the streams with drops enabled, you will be able to get these for free:

• Iron Fist (Will of Galacta Spray): watch for 30 minutes.
• Iron Fist (Will of Galacta nameplate): watch for 1 hour.
• Iron Fist (emote): watch for 2 hours.
• Iron Fist (Will of Galacta skin): watch for 4 hours.
