Release date for Marvel Rivals Season 8
According to the official roadmap of Season 7.5, Marvel Rivals Season 8 will start from next Friday, May 15, 2026, at 9 AM UTC.
Players already predicted the date for the official confirmation because the season’s weekly challenges conclude during week eight.
You can also expect NetEase to drop the full roadmap for Season 8 on May 14, 2026. In Season 7, we got fan-favourite PvE, Black Cat & White Fox, Avengers-themed game mode, a new map and new skins.

What to expect from Season 8?
Most players and fans have only one important question in mind: Who are the upcoming heroes for Season 8?
Well, NetEase has officially teased the heroes, which can become part of the roster next season. The solid evidence is through the gallery card from Battlepass, which has teased Cyclops and Devil Dinosaur. Both of them have been teased multiple times and their character ID’s have also been leaked previously.
The next in line are Captain Marvel, Kingpin and The Hood. These characters have also been leaked and have a good chance to be part of the roster.
Players can also expect new skins, new mini-battle pass events, and an ongoing continuation of the Path to Doomsday event storyline.
