Insomniac Games recently revealed a new story trailer for their upcoming superhero game, Marvel’s Wolverine, which is all set to launch on September 15, 2026, for PS5.
In the new trailer, fans were able to see a closer look at Jean Grey and Logan’s emotional relationship and some iconic villains from X-Men. Let’s check out some more details in this article.
Logan and Jean Grey take centre stage
The biggest and main attraction of the new 1:49 minute of story trailer was none other than Logan and Jean Grey.
Longtime Marvel fans know how complicated this relationship is. This gets much further complicated with Jean’s relationship with Scott Summers, aka Cyclops.
Although this trailer does not highlight the full story of the game, it clearly suggests that Jean Grey will play a major role in Logan’s journey.
Apart from brutal and gore combat, we can see Wolverine and his team’s efforts to save the mutants. In this world, there are no X-Men. Deathstrike is confirmed to be the leader of The Hand.
Wolverine seems to be teaming up with Sabertooth. Award-winning composer David Fleming leads the soundtrack (The Last of Us HBO, Superman 2025).
