Insomniac ready to reveal Wolverine?

The last time fans and gamers heard anything about Marvel’s Wolverine game was back in late 2023, when the game leaks were posted on the Internet. Now, after a long time, new insider reports suggest that Sony and Insomniac are ready to reveal more information about the game.

This leak was posted by Kurakasis on Twitter and for now, treat this information with a grain of salt until any new confirmation or updates are out. Let’s check out more details in this article.

New information and reveal of Marvel’s Wolverine game

According to Kurakasis, this is what he has to say about the game updates:

“From my little digging, it looks like Sony is gearing up to show off some new stuff from Marvel’s Wolverine. It’s hard for me to determine when it’ll happen, but I’m guessing it’ll be this year—either at TGA or at some unannounced, super-secret event.”

One user also commented on the post and revealed that on October 18, 2024, there was a Marvel Games presentation at NYCC. There is a chance that Marvel’s Wolverine game new information might be revealed.

30th anniversary PlayStation Showcase

There is also a chance that it might be revealed on December 3, 2024, the 30th anniversary PlayStation Showcase. More game title information and updates can be included as well:

  • Ghost of Yotei
  • Death Stranding 2
  • Marathon
  • Venom
  • Current Gen Only – MLB The Show
  • Fairgames

Except for Wolverine, all of these games are set to release in 2025. With no more E3, there is probably a moment where displaying them at the same time makes sense, and many believe it may be on the earlier side if you want to avoid release dates adjacent to GTA 6.

We know that the majority of these games will not release Q12025 (although Fairgames may), and they will most likely avoid Q42025. So at least five games (excluding MLB) in six months.
