GTA-style urban chaos

Neverness to Everness (NTE), the anime-inspired open-world gacha RPG from Hotta Studio, has revealed an official trailer for PS5, PC, and mobile.

The fans are now pretty hyped for its Containment Test closed beta. The amazing trailer showcases the vibrant city of Hethereau, blending GTA-style urban chaos with Genshin Impact’s gacha flair.

Containment Test Beta: How to sign up

The Containment Test beta for Neverness to Everness is now finally open. You can sign up via nte.perfectworld.com, invites global PC players to explore Hethereau’s urban sprawl.

According to Gematsu, pre-registration has been accessible since July 2024, with 500,000 sign-ups so far.

  • Visit the official NTE website.

New trailer

The new cinematic trailer looks amazing, sadly, not much of the gameplay was shown in the trailer.

The game, which uses Unreal Engine 5 with NVIDIA DLSS and ray tracing, promises stunning visuals ranging from neon-lit streets to anomaly-filled towers.

According to GameRant, Hethereau’s supernatural setting—think skateboarding otters and TV-headed creatures—distinguishes NTE from Wuthering Waves by providing a lighter plot.

Sony’s extensive promotion, which includes a PlayStation Blog section, demonstrates trust in this free-to-play game.

Neverness to Everness combines GTA-style vehicle customizing, street racing, and business management with gacha combat and Esper skills, allowing players to scale buildings and battle anomalies that resemble sentient vending machines.

Its 13-minute TGS 2024 gameplay demo, which featured home decorations and frenzied fighting, received 1 million YouTube views.

With Hotta Studio’s Tower of Fantasy pedigree, Neverness to Everness might challenge Zenless Zone Zero’s 40 million downloads.
