Deadpool now in VR!
This new Deadpool VR game revealed might be the craziest thing that happened at Summer Game Fest 2025. Not only did they tease Hollow Knight: Silksong, but also dissed Insomniac Spider-Man.
Twisted Pixel is partnering up with Oculus Studios and Marvel Entertainment to deliver this game on VR, exclusive to Meta Quest 3 and Quest 3S. Let’s check out more details in this article.
Know more about the Deadpool VR game
Deadpool VR game, which is based on Twisted Pixel’s underappreciated Path of the Warrior, has been in production for several years.
The game transports you through the Marvel universe, pitting you against legendary and unknown villains in a genuine metaverse adventure—Marvel-style, not simply VR hype.
The action-packed teaser shows Deadpool speeding through rooms with an electro-whip reminiscent of Bulletstorm, tossing kunai knives, and even shoving adversaries into spinning propellers, all while comic-book pop-ups and explosions add to the frenzy.
Neil Patrick Harris, known for How I Met Your Mother and Doctor Who, voices the character, following his outstanding performance as Count Olaf in Netflix’s A Series of Unfortunate Events.
His performance in the Red Band trailer is outstanding, combining humor with Deadpool’s typical edge.
This is what the official Meta press release says about the game: “If you can imagine it, you can probably do it.”
Instead of conventional stabs or shoots, use a grenade to punch foes, throw your exploded arm at them (yeah, it’s gross), or grind a villain’s face into a propeller.

With troops, demonic canines, humanoid reptiles, and creepy crawlers ready for creative dismemberment, the gameplay offers a cruel spin on VR action.
Although the exact release date has not been announced yet, the Deadpool VR game will launch in late 2025 on Meta Quest 3 and 3S, with no plans for Quest 2 or PC versions.
