New goalkeeper free-kick glitch on EA FC 27

Game-breaking glitch!

EA FC 27 isn’t a perfect game. EA Sports has always tried to listen to fans’ feedback and make improvements every year. However, there are some things that will persist.

Well-known EA FC leaker FUT Sheriff has recently shared a post on his X account, showcasing a game-breaking fix. Let’s find out more details in this article.

Goalkeeper free kick glitch

In a post shared by FUT Sheriff on X, you can see a goalkeeper taking the free kick from his box and scoring a direct goal. Both goalkeepers are doing the same in back-to-back succession.

There is no doubt that this is a game-breaking glitch. It can easily ruin the fun for everyone. The post is already gaining more attention from the fans and community.

Fans are commenting that every EA FC title is the same and the developers might be shaking their boots right now. No more patches until the new promo pack arrives in the game.

For now, it is not clear whether this could perform in Ultimate Team mode or not. Hopefully, the developers will patch this bug as soon as possible.

Conclusion

This newly discovered bug is quickly becoming the talk of EA FC 27 among the fans and community. If this is left unpatched, it can quickly become disruptive to competitive matches, where goalkeepers will keep scoring goals from their own penalty area.

For now, it is also unclear whether it can be consistently replicated across all game modes. Hopefully, EA Sports and developers will work on this issue fast and fix this bug in the patch or some kind of hotfix update.
