A new report has hyped up fans online. It appears that Sony PlayStation might be revisiting a famous and most beloved PlayStation franchise, Infamous.

Infamous franchise might make a comeback!

The new report comes from VGC journalist Jordan Middler, who recently discussed the future of PlayStation studios first party projects and titles.

During this podcast, Middler revealed that “something Infamous-related” is currently happening at PlayStation.

An interesting part of this topic is that he also suggested that Sucker Punch Productions is likely not directly involved with this project.

Many fans and gamers have already started to speculate that PlayStation might be working on a remaster or a remake of an older game instead of a new title.

Infamous remake or remaster?

Sucker Pucker Production has spent the last several years focusing on the Ghost of Tsushima and Ghost of Yotei. It only makes sense that another internal PlayStation Studio might be handling this project.

Many PS3 exclusives still haven’t managed to be converted to the modern generation of consoles, which makes many of the original Infamous games still some of the most sought-after PS titles on today’s consoles.
