Remember all the rumors and leaks about the game in 2025? It seems they were all fake, as Jez Corden has just revealed on the XB2 Podcast Discord Server. He clearly mentioned:
Thereâs currently no plans for the Prototype IP as of right now, anyone who claims otherwise is sadly misinformedâŚ
A surprising Steam patch for the 2009 original adds new credits (Iron Galaxy references?) and test levels such as âLocomotion,â sparking remake rumors in September/October 2025. For this, Jez called it, âNothing burgerâ and it was just a normal routine patch.
