What to expect in this Direct?
For now, Nintendo has confirmed that this event will be roughly 60 minutes long and will provide information on upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch games.
Many leaks and rumors have been going around on the internet for the past few weeks. One of the strongest ones is a new Mario game, possibly Super Mario Odyssey. September 13, 2025, is the anniversary of the 1985 NES release, so speculation for the Mario game is high.

Pokémon Legends: Z-A (out October 16) and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment (later this year) might get some new reveals in this Direct event.
Another main attraction can be Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, which might get a new trailer or release date. Fans can also expect third-party titles to shine during the Nintendo Direct.
