A few days ago, a Nintendo leaker revealed the price of the new Nintendo Switch 2, which could potentially make its announcement next month. Today, we have another rumor that the mass production of the console has been started in China.

Mass Production begins for Nintendo Switch 2

According to the new rumor from Famiboard, Switch 2 mass production has begun in China. This information is from the China forums, and they are currently making 1000 units per day [Edit: This is one worker, not the whole line.]

The console is also slightly larger than the Switch 1 and it will feature black and white Joy-Con controllers. Personally, I think that Switch 2 might be a code name for the console. Let’s hope we get a unique name for the upcoming Nintendo gaming console.

Expected Price?

Recently, Sony announced the PS5 Pro, which is going to cost around $700. Now, all the eyes are on the Nintendo Switch 2. The leakers have already revealed that the Nintendo Switch 2 might cost around $400, making it the most expensive console ever released by Nintendo.

The console might come with an 8-inch LCD panel, but it could be different for the higher models. Meanwhile, Nintendo of America has announced Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Bundles for the holidays. This will also include a full year of Switch online.

No new updates for Splatoon 3?

Nintendo has also announced that they will end the regular updates for Splatoon 3. This Nintendo shooting game franchise has been a massive success. The Splatoon 2 and 3 have sold over 25 million units (combined) on Switch. There is no doubt that Splatoon 3 on Nintendo Switch 2 will achieve the same level of sales.
