After years of waiting and speculation, Atlus has now officially announced Persona 6 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC at Xbox Games Showcase 2026.
The beloved turn-based JRPG franchise’s mainline series is now finally arriving more than a decade since Persona 5. Along with this, Atlus has also confirmed the release date for Persona 4 Revival. Let’s check out more details in this article.

Persona 6 reveal trailer hints at dark tone
Although Atlus has not revealed any details about the game or release date, the debut trailer for Persona 6 provided many things that fans can speculate and analyze.
This new short teaser had a very dark tone, a gothic atmosphere and could be related to either zombies or ghosts.
It also had a few disturbing images, graveyards, and some disturbing scenes in the teaser, suggesting that the story may have a horror twist.
The Persona style remains consistent, however, mixing in mystery and supernatural elements and appealing aesthetics.
The only thing that Atlus has revealed is that “An entirely new story is about to unfold” on their social media post.
Just like many leaks and rumors suggested, this time the theme is Green (Neon green aesthetic. For now, there is no release date or timeline, but knowing Atlus, this game can be released in 2028.
Persona 4 Revival launches in February 2027
Atlus has also confirmed that Persona 4 Revival (remake) will officially launch on February 18, 2027, for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC.
The latest gameplay and story trailer showcased the beloved town of Inaba, with fully rebuilt environments, updated visuals and more modernized presentation.
The graphic overhaul can be easily noticed, but it still keeps the original charm, characters and atmosphere that made the game most beloved in the franchise.
