Third title with Kojima and PlayStation

Gamers and fans were recently very excited after watching the Beyond the Strand event, where Kojima finally provided Physint game update.

A new poster with the cast was announced and this will be the third IP with Kojima Productions and PlayStation working together. You can probably call this game a successor to the Metal Gear series. Let’s check out more details in this article.

Physint’s concept stage and star-studded cast revealed

In the candid chat at the event, Hideo Kojima admitted that Physint is deep in the concept phase, hashing out visuals, casting, and core ideas.

PlayStation boss Herman Hulst is very excited and has high expectations for this IP. For now, the gameplay reveal is miles ahead as this is still at the starting phase of development.

For now, the concept art and poster were revealed, where we can see the main character’s face hidden. However, few cast members have been announced for this project.

Furiosa’s Charlee Fraser, Train to Busan’s Don Lee, and Godzilla: Minus One’s Minami Hamabe will be in the game. The lead role is still a mystery for now.

This isn’t Kojima’s first foray into spydom; with Metal Gear, he essentially developed contemporary stealth. Classics like Snake Eater and The Phantom Pain established the standard for narrative-driven action, combining realism with bizarre turns. Following Konami’s 2015 split, fans demanded more, and Physint might fill that need. While Metal Gear returns without him, this new IP promises new espionage thrills.

If you are wondering about the release date, then you can probably expect this game in 2030 or later. This could easily be considered as the PS6 title.
