After many rumors, Sony has now officially announced the PlayStation State of Play, which is all set for June 2, 2026. This upcoming event is going to be 60 minutes long, with gameplay reveals and worldwide premieres from both first-party and third-party studios.

This event is also scheduled before the Summer Game Fest 2026 and fans are pretty hyped as Sony has announced the State of Play pretty early this time.

Another interesting part is that Sony is renting out the theatre viewing for this event. The last time they did was in E3 2018. There is no doubt that Sony is coming with a lot of bangers for the gamers.

Marvel’s Wolverine gameplay showcase confirmed

Sony PlayStation and Insomniac Games have also confirmed that the new extended Marvel’s Wolverine gameplay will be showcased in this event.

The developers previously confirmed that we will see gameplay by the end of Spring 2026. They also revealed that pre-orders will go live after they have shown the new gameplay to everyone.
