Pokémon Champions with battle-only experience
This is the game for the battle freaks! This game will not have exploration elements and all the spotlight will be on the strategic battles.
Players can fully customize their teams, including stats, nature and abilities. This is a dream scenario for the competitive players.
Now, to build the team, players can transfer their existing Pokémon via Pokémon HOME or use the Recruit system.
This is a gacha-style mechanic that will allow players to temporarily use random Pokémon. But, in the long-term, progression is best achieved by transferring your own trained Pokémon from other games.
Gameplay features & modes
This game will stick to turn-based battles but will introduce several modern features. Now, players can choose from three online modes: Ranked Battles, Casual Matches, and Private Battles with friends.
Before the match begins, both players can preview each other’s team and strategically select their starting Pokémon. Some Pokémon can Mega Evolve, which unlocks new abilities and add depth to the battles.
The action will be interesting due to seasonal competitions that have different rules, and players can win Victory Points (VP) by playing in battles. Pokémon can be levelled up, items acquired through these points, or other, more permanent Pokémon recruited permanently using these points.
