Fortnite Festival Season 8 rumors have started to buzz around among the fans and community involving a big artist name, Post Malone. Rumors are spreading that the Grammy-nominated performer may join the Guitar Hero-inspired game, which has already welcomed giants such as Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, and Metallica.

Post Malone to headline Fortnite Festival?
The latest rumors started when BestFNCreative posted the leak about Malone who might be headlining the upcoming festival. After that Shiina also reposted the leak but didn’t confirm whether this is true or not.
The leakers said that in the upcoming days, they will be able to confirm whether this is true or not. If confirmed, Post Malone would become the seventh artist to host a Festival season, following his 2024 album release, F-1 Trillion. Imagine him joining Fortnite’s Icon Series, which includes legends like Eminem, Snoop Dogg, and Ariana Grande.
The community and fans know that Malone is no stranger to the game. With over 200 songs spanning genres, the mode already includes three of his hits: Better Now, Circles, and I Had Some Help.
The same pattern appeared for Billie Eilish, The Weeknd and Lady Gaga. From this pattern, the speculation and rumors are getting more heated for the upcoming season.

Hatsune Miku is controlling Season 7 until April 8, 2025, thus we are in a holding pattern. Season 8 might begin then, with Post Malone perhaps taking center stage. According to leaks, a large upgrade (v34.21) could be released around April 1 or 8, ideally timed with the shift.
Malone’s 18 Grammy nods and Epic Games knack for epic crossovers make this a perfect match for the upcoming festival. His chill vibes and epic music are surely going to be amazing to listen to in-game when it happens. For now, there is no official word from Epic Games so we have to wait patiently for the official confirmation.
