This game now sits behind the heavy hitters like Resident Evil Requiem and iconic Resident Evil 4 Remake, which remains the studio’s highest rated releases on Steam. For a brand new IP, this early performance is a great achievement.

Long journey with delays

Despite all the success, Pragmata had a very challenging development cycle. This game was first announced in 2020 and was slated to release in 2022.

However, multiple delays pushed the game back to 2023 and eventually the game launched in 2026. Later, it was revealed that the delays were necessary to fine-tune the gameplay experience.
