A Fresh take on PUBG
KRAFTON has recently rebranded its spin-off game which was previously known as Project ARC to PUBG Blindspot. This tactical shooter game demo is expected to be released on Steam from February 21 to March 3, 2025.
The battle royale and PUBG fans are pretty excited for now as they will be able to try something new in this segment. Let’s check out more details in this article.
Know more about PUBG Blindspot
Fans of the battle royale PUBG may find PUBG Blindspot a deviation, but as a solo title, it promises a new experience. KRAFTON emphasizes its esports potential, using PUBG’s competitive legacy. In contrast to battle royales, which move at a slower speed, the game offers a more intensive shooting experience.
KRAFTON also explained why they chose this name: “PUBG Studios chose the name PUBG: Blindspot to reflect both the development philosophy and core gameplay elements. The PUBG brand represents our commitment to expanding into new genres, while Blindspot signifies the game’s innovative blend of top-down shooting and vision-based tactical play.”
This game mechanics will focus on a vision-based system. This means that players can only see the enemies within their character’s realistic field of view. This will add a new layer of mysteries and strategies to the game.
This will be a 5v5 tactical shooter game, similar to Rainbow Six Seige, where players will have gadgets and weapons and with that, they have to achieve objectives in an attack vs. defend format. With only one life per round, every decision matters, resulting in high-stakes, strategic gaming.

Now they have rebranded the name and looking forward to releasing the demo of the game pretty soon.
