Y11S1 Operation Silent Hunt!
Ubisoft has officially announced its upcoming crossover with Metal Gear for Rainbow Six Siege during the Six Invitational in Paris. Solid Snake will join the game as a brand new operator in Year 11 Season 1, titled Operation Silent Hunt.
Ubisoft and Konami collaborated on the game, which features several iconic audio cues from the Metal Gear series. David Hayter, the long-time voice behind Snake, has recorded new voice lines for the operator. Let’s check out more details in this article.
Solid Snake joins Rainbow Six Siege as a New Operator
In the reveal trailer, Snake was revealed to the Rainbow Six universe by Sam Fisher, who is another iconic stealth character.
When it comes to gameplay, Snake will be a one-health, three-speed operator. He will emphasize agility and stealth over durability.
His loadout will include the F2 assault rifle, the PMR90A2 battle rifle, and the suppressed TACIT .45 handgun. This provides players with a flexible option for both aggressive and stealth-focused gameplay.
His standout feature is the OSP Pouch gadget. This functions as an advanced radar and early warning system.
The device incorporates familiar sound effects inspired by the Metal Gear franchise, reinforcing the crossover’s authenticity while introducing additional strategic options to matches.
