A few tips to dribble past your opponents
Slocapâs unique football, Rematch, is gaining popularity among fans and gamers. It has a similar vibe to Rocket League mixed with Street Football.
Dribbling is a very important part of the game and once mastered, you might rule the pitch. Letâs find out more about this in the article.
How to dribble?
Dribbling is available in Rematch and to get started with this, you need to have the ball in your possession. You can have it by:
- Picking up a loose ball.
- Tackling an opponent.
- Receive a pass from your teammate.
After having a ball in your possession, pushing your analog stick forward will have your player jog and kick it ahead.
You can mix it with the sprint button to increase your speed and move in a certain direction.

Rematch dribbling tips
The important thing to note is that dribbling isnât all about speed. Sure, you might get past some noob players, however, this trick wonât work everytime.
Controlling the ball is the key point. On PlayStation, hitting X while jogging moves the ball further, allowing you to move more quickly across the surface.
Double-tap X for a longer touch, but be carefulâthis can backfire. The longer the ball goes, the riskier it becomes. If you overcommit and drift off-line, you may run past it and lose possession.
Now, donât overdo this every time or your opponent will read you like an open book. This works best on the wing position.
You can use the dribble stance by pressing âL2â and moving your analog stick left, right etc. Pressing X in between 2 times will let you perform a 360 move.
You can lob the ball above the opponents by using R1 + X. Another tip is to juggle the ball continuously with your head. This can be done by pressing R1 and then using X repeatedly.
While on the wing or escaping from your opponent, you can also use double sprint to dribble and run faster in the match.
Now, try to dribble using these methods, control and hold the ball, use the pace in between to confuse your opponent and score the goals in Rematch.
