This is due to the ongoing child safety controversies on the platform. Hansen posted on social media that he is teaming up with law enforcement, victims and others to tackle this situation.

Why is Roblox in trouble?

Roblox is a platform where millions of players are online to play games. This platform thrives on user-created games, which are fun to play.

However, recently, many reports of troubling incidents have sparked lawsuits and public outcry. The platform’s darker side is slowly coming out of the shadows and many parents are concerned about this.

This is all related to child grooming and child predators on the platforms. Chris Hansen’s involvement only proves that this is a serious problem on the platform, and necessary strict actions will be taken against it.

You may have heard that my streaming crime network TruBlu and I are investigating child exploitation on Roblox—it’s true, and we’re fully committed.”

He has already interviewed police enforcement and victims, demonstrating a thorough approach. Hansen hopes to hold Roblox accountable by working with colleagues such as Schlep, a well-known advocate in this sector.

Conclusion

Well, he is not the only one who is coming up with an investigation. Much dirt has already been dug on the social media platform regarding Roblox and its darker side.

Attorney General Liz Murrill also posted on X, showcasing all the games and the types of darker incidents that are happening on the platforms. They are not going to watch exploiting children and facilitating child sexual abuse for profit.
