Rocket League World Championship 2025 event details

Here are some of the most important details of this event:

• Location: Lyon-Décines, France.
• Venue: LDLC Arena.
• Dates: September 9–September 14, 2025
• Public Access: The arena will be open from September 12 to 14.

Format and Qualification

The road to the RLWC 2025 has started and we are very close to North America’s second open qualifier.

• Total Teams: Twenty teams will compete, up from 16 the previous year.
• Qualification: North America and Europe each get four places.
• Oceania, South America, and MENA each have two seats.
• APAC and Southeast Asia have one place apiece.
• Last Chance Qualifier: Will fill the remaining four seats.
• The season’s competition structure includes:
• Two splits, each with three open qualifiers and two majors.
• Split 1 concludes at the Birmingham Major in the United Kingdom on March 27-30.
• Split 2 concludes with the second Major, which takes place in Raleigh, North Carolina, from June 26 to 29.

New 1v1 Championship

This time, a new 1v1 competition will also be presented:

• Qualifiers: Following the third open qualifier in each split.
• Finals: Integrated into the RLCS Majors.
• World Championship: Will run concurrently with the conventional 3v3 event in Lyon-Décines.

Prize Pool

Rocket League World Championship 2025 prize pool has been revealed that boasts a total prize pool of $5 million, with $1,200,000 USD specifically allocated for the World Championship.
