Windows Central reports have highlighted “widely circulated documents” that suggest the Forza Horizon 6 announcement during Tokyo Game Show 2025, September 25-28, 2025.

Nate The Hate, who is a very well-known leaker and insider, has also backed this report, but he isn’t sure about the Switch 2 version.

A recent leak from Australian automobile importer Cult & Classic—later deleted—suggested that Japan may be the game’s setting, making a Tokyo reveal a natural fit. This is consistent with previous speculation regarding a Japanese-themed open-world racing experience.

Japan is very well known for its car culture and it’s a very good choice to select Japan as its location. If you have watched Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift, you will know what I mean to say.

Japanese culture and beautiful scenery will only complement the franchise even more. Fans can expect some amazing visuals, a bigger open world and amazing Japanese and other cars.

Given its Japanese setting, it’s only right to reveal the game at Tokyo Game Show 2025. Forza Horizon 5 was recently released on PS5 and it did some amazing sales.
