Renting bikes in Leonida

There are a lot of fake leaks and AI-generated clips of GTA 6 surfacing on the internet on a daily basis. But recently, Benjamin Chue, a former animator, posted his demo reel from the game.

There are two animations shown in the clip and it appears to be the animation from the game. Let’s check out more details in this article.

New GTA 6 demo reel footage

This was posted by a former Rockstar animator on Vimeo, which was spotted by many fans and later got posted on X and Reddit.

In the footage, you can see the motion capture footage of a person who is taking a bike, which is known as LomBike, from a stand and then riding off with it. Later, we also see this character returning the bike, which looks like a rental bike service.

There were many speculations about this feature in the last trailer, but with this footage, this feature might really be available in the game.

It’s unclear whether the LomBike has any link to Lombank from Grand Theft Auto 4 and 5. In the next footage, we see a female character exiting the pickup truck, one from the roof and another from the seat.

This female character appears to look like the female protagonist, Lucia. For now, it’s unclear whether this is a normal animation or from the in-game mission cutscene.

After the GTA 6 trailer 2, this is the closest real thing we have got about the game. There is some speculation that we might see something at the Game Awards 2025, but I highly doubt it.

Final Thoughts

This is the closest thing we will get to anything related to GTA 6 this year. I am pretty sure we won’t be getting anything new until May 2026.

The game is scheduled to release on November 19, 2026 and the marketing for the game might kick off 3-4 months before.
