Sega has officially announced that its long-running football management series, SakaTsuku, is now going global with Sega Football Club Champions 2025.

Sega Football Club Champions 2025 closed beta test is scheduled for June 19-30, 2025, with applications closing on June 13, 2025.

For now, only 15,000 slots are available and all the feedback will help the developers to refine the game before the official launch. It is said to be released later this year.

This game in Japan is known as Pro Soccer Club o Tsukurou! 2025. This series officially began on the Sega Saturn in 1996, which focused more on managing Japanese football teams to win the J-League.

Despite 25 submissions over the years, only one, Pro Soccer Club o Tsukurou! Europe Championship, had previously been adapted for Western audiences as Let’s Make a Soccer Team on PlayStation 2.

This new release marks a new chapter for SakaTsuku, with the Japanese website announcing, “The latest work of SakaTsuku is here!” Now is the moment to begin a new path.”

Sega Football Club Champions 2025 is officially powered by Football Manager, though the exact collaboration between them is still unclear.

Fans can play a career mode where they have to manage a team, make strategic & tactical decisions, and build their club, alongside a Dream Team Mode for global PvP matches.

It has an authentic FIFPro license and includes 10,000 genuine footballers, 1,500 from Japan’s J1-J3 leagues, the South Korean K League, and Manchester City.
