Creepy and exciting

Konami and NeoBards Entertainment recently revealed a new trailer and gameplay for Silent Hill f at PlayStation State of Play.

The trailer highlights show how creepy monsters are awaiting our new protagonist, Hinako. Let’s check out more details in this article.

Silent Hill f release date, pre-order details and bonuses

Mark your calendars as Silent Hill f is officially going to launch on September 25, 2025. The game will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Steam, Epic Game Store and Windows Store.

The pre-orders for the game are live right now. The Standard Edition costs $69.99, while the Digital Deluxe Edition costs $79.99 and includes three days of early access, a digital soundtrack, an artbook, and a Pink Rabbit costume—a tribute to the series’ recurring character, Robbie the Rabbit.

Pre-purchasing any edition earns you a White Sailor School Uniform, an Omamori: Peony, and an Item Pack containing a Shriveled Abura-age, Divine Water, and First Aid Kit, which you may get via an in-game Hokora after unlocking the Bonuses option.

Enhanced Graphics Mode on PS5 Pro

The game series producer, Motoi Okamoto, revealed on PlayStation Blog that the game will feature an Enhanced Graphics Mode on PS5 Pro, ensuring “graphical fidelity at a stable FPS.”

While exact resolution and frame rate specs are pending, there’s speculation it may resemble the Silent Hill 2 remake’s modes—Performance (60 FPS) and Quality (better resolution at 30 FPS).

Thoughts

The new trailer and gameplay of Silent Hill f was amazing and something unique. From the trailer itself, you can see the combat is heavy, melee-based in this one.

This will be very different from the Silent Hill 2 remake. The monsters and the environment look very eerie and creepy.

Hinako uses a rusted pipe and a Naginata to fight frightening monsters created by artist Kera. Okamoto emphasized the “juxtaposition between beauty and terror” in these works, which combine Japanese horror with Silent Hill’s legacy.

Akira Yamaoka and Kensuke Inage created the soundtrack, which recalls nostalgia while still fitting the current atmosphere.

I am very excited about the Japanese horror theme-based game and we only have to wait three months before it officially releases.
