The controller will be priced at $99, which makes it expensive compared to its competitors, like the DualSense Wireless Controller, which typically retails for around $74.99 and even the Switch controller, which is slightly priced higher than this.
The early review from Japanese publication 4Gamer leaked a day ago, which already leaked the pricing and release date for the controller. Later, the post got taken down; however, the screenshots had already been posted on Reddit forums.
Now, Valve has officially confirmed the details and has also announced the features that their new controller is going to have that make it more premium and worthy of the higher price tag.
