The new DLC character is actually hot!
Street Fighter fans are pretty hyped as Capcom has just released two trailers at EVO 2025. The first is C. Viper as a new DLC character and another is a fresh lineup of character outfits.
Let’s check out more details about the new content and updates that will be arriving in the game pretty soon.
C. Viper joins the fight
The new electric agent, C. Viper, is a fan favourite character from Street Fighter IV. She is now making her grand return this Autumn 2025.
Fans would be able to play her on all modes: World Tour, Battle Hub, and Fighting Grounds—on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
This comes after a leak and signals the beginning of Year 3 in Street Fighter 6’s DLC plan. Sagat (out this week), Alex (early spring 2026), and Ingrid (late spring 2026) will join her, according to IGN.
The fans are really happy with the new character. Her addition to this game is only going to enhance the experience for the players.
One of the X users also commented: “Given the time between characters (another character or two every year would be ideal), I don’t enjoy seeing a new character before the previous one has even been released…but I do like what I’m seeing with C. Viper.”
New fresh outfits
Capcom also showcased some fresh new outfits in another trailer. This will allow players to customize and personalize their favourite characters.
According to GameSpot, these trendy additions improve the game’s visual flare and make each match feel fresh. Whether it’s a slick new style for Ryu or a striking revamp for Chun-Li, the variation is enjoyable.
There was another surprise that fans got at EVO 2025. This is a free update for Capcom Fighting Collection 2, which will launch this week.
This will add Ingrid and other characters to Street Fighter Alpha 3 UPPER.
