Faker won his 6th World Championship
In the absolute cinema League of Legends World Championship 2025 finals, T1 defeated KT Holster by 3-2, to win the world championship, three times in a row.
Mr. Goat, Faker, himself won the 6th World Championship, cementing his legacy even deeper. KT did an amazing job fighting for the finals, but their opponents were just better. Let’s check out more details in this article.
T1 comeback, yet again!
The Telecom war started with the absolute domination over KT. Doran absolutely shone in this match, where he later made many mistakes in the rest of the games. Overall, he had an amazing performance in the finals.
In the 2nd and 3rd matches, KT literally showed everyone why they made it to the grand finals. BDD was the MVP for the team throughout the finals. Perfect and Cuzz gave an amazing performance compared to the rest of the team.
But then, things changed for them. Faker, Guma, Oner and Keria started to shine and took the fourth match, taking the series to game five.
Then, in the last game, it was a pure Gumayushi masterclass, with Oner having a lowkey MVP performance as well. The finals MVP was given to Gumayashi and I think he truly carries the team in this series.
World Champion Faker
There is no doubt that he is the greatest of all time when it comes to League of Legends. This guy has won his 6th World Championship. Also, the third world finals win back-to-back, which is absolutely crazy.
There were a lot of haters who were doubting him and the team on their recent performances; however, when it comes to Worlds, they literally step up and show why they are the greatest LoL team in the world.
