A start of a new era?
The esports environment is always evolving, and the most recent events surrounding the BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) sector are no different. Team X Sc0ut has announced that he is leaving S8UL.
Another change has come as 8bit Thug mentioned that the 8bit BGMI roster is not a part of S8UL anymore, which is a new phase for the company. As a result of this change, people have started to question the future of the team along with the investment in BGMI lineups.
Team X Sc0ut’s Departure: A Brotherhood Remains
One of the most beloved BGMI players in India, Team X Sc0ut (Tanmay Singh) has announced that he won’t be a part of S8UL anymore. Despite leaving the organization, he left a heartfelt message to 8bit Thug, stating, “I’ve officially left S8UL and 8bit, but Thug is like a brother to me. He won’t leave me like that and will still help me unofficially.”
Thug has also responded regarding this announcement and Scout’s statement. “As someone who has managed Sc0ut for 3.5 years, it’s great to see one of our top creators making moves. I feel bad, but I’m happy for him.”
The reason behind leaving is very simple and related to finding a suitable sponsor for his Team XSpark. It was very tough to manage them and they were already looking for sponsors for quite some time.
Now, they have found it and the next collab and announcement will soon arrive with Team XSpark and Team Revenant Esports.
8bit BGMI Roster: What Led to the Changes?
According to @letsgrowesports on Twitter/X, it is financial issues that seem to be pushing 8bit away from S8UL. There seems to be a lack of willingness to invest in several BGMI lineups which is arguably compounded by BGMI’s blueprint for the next 6-7 months.
For this reason, the organization has reached an agreement to distance itself away from managing 8bit roster. But, the players are not leaving totally. They will continue participating in competitions as “8bit” should they looking for an investor or a group to support them.

Upcoming new tournament with Gujrat Titans?
As previously announced, Scout and Team XSpark will be joining hands with Revenant Esports. Fans can expect the official announcement soon at the IRL event in Mumbai. Also, the IPL team, “Gujarat Titans,” will be collaborating with Revenant Esports and has announced a new BGMI Tournament: Titans Rising.
