On March 2, 2025, popular American Twitch streamers Valkyrae, Cinna, and Emiru had a terrifying encounter during their ‘Sisathon’ livestream, a week-long marathon event.

This trio was ambushed and threatened by a stalker during the livestream that turned a fun broadcast into a scary situation. Let’s check out more details in this article.

Sisathon livestream turned scary

The unsettling moment occurred when Valkyrae, Cinna, and Emiru walked from a Ferris wheel at Santa Monica Pier.

The stalker approached Cinna and demanded her phone information, as captured on film and rapidly shared on social media. When she dismissed him with, “I don’t know how to use a phone,” he ignored the hint.

Instead, he followed the group, leading to threats of violence. Panicked, the streamers fled, shouting for help and pleading with the man to back off. Clips from the chase have since gone viral, highlighting the dangers of IRL (in-real-life) streaming.

Valkyrae later informed followers via X: “We’re all well and have been with the cops. “The marathon is over; we need time to process.” The Sisathon, which was scheduled to end on March 3, was cut short due to the panic.

Fans are in shock, filling platforms like Reddit with worry and fury. One user complained, “Emiru’s got some seriously insane stalkers.” This guy flipped out over a phone number rejection; Pokimane has stated that she skips IRL streams for the same reason. “It’s wild out there.”

Another pointed out a grim reality: “They require improved security. Creeps create fantasies for large audiences and women.

XQC also joined during his recent livestream as he expressed his concern related to the safety of the streamers and the stalker problem.

The same incident happened with Amouranth recently, who recently faced an armed robbery overnight. At night she was robbed at gunpoint and it appears that she has also suffered some minor injuries.
