VALORANT Pro's tease next agent: More annoying than Jett!

The fans and community of VALORANT are all hyped and patiently waiting for the reveal of the new agent which is set to drop before the VCT Masters Bangkok grand final on March 2, 2025.

Riot has kept the secret heavily guarded, however, the pros have already been given a chance to check out the new upcoming agent. Let’s check out more details in this article.

VALORANT Pro’s reactions

Riot teased the agent with candid reactions from top-tier players, and the reactions were amazing. Sentinels’ duelist ace Zachary “zekken” Patrone couldn’t contain his glee: “It’s going to be really annoying to play against—which is why I’m excited to use it!”

DRX’s Song: “HYUNMIN” Hyun-min raised the stakes, calling it “Jett, Yoru, and Reyna rolled into one” and claimed it’s so powerful that “Jett might get benched.”

G2’s Nathan “leaf” Orf described it as “fully disruptive,” ideal for unsettling opponents, while Vitality’s Saif “Sayf” Jibraeel cautioned that sentinel mains and site holders will despise it the most, implying slick mobility skills that may get past Killjoy or Cypher traps.

Shift in new meta

Most of the meta and strategies will undoubtedly change once this new agent is released. Early duds like Harbor and Deadlock had little impact on the meta, and even strong picks like Iso and Clove remained specialized. But what about the recent acquisitions, Vyse and Tejo? They are upsetting the status quo. Both excelled in VCT Kickoff events, with Tejo emerging as the top selection in Masters Bangkok.

If the new agent is treated as more annoying than Jett, then I guess either her abilities are pretty annoying or she is a high-mobility character. This might become the new meta and Jett with the new agent together might be a deadly combo.
