Developers BULKHEAD have now officially confirmed that early access for the game will start on September 10, 2026.
Players can purchase the game on Steam and can enjoy the upcoming early access. There will be regular updates, new maps, weapons, features, balance changes, bugs fixes and gameplay improvements during the ongoing early access.
The early access will help the developers to build a more polished version and set up the foundation for the 1.0 full launch of the game in the future.
When will WARDOGS 1.0 release?
Wondering about the full launch of the game? For now, we might have to wait for some time. According to the developers, the game will remain in early access for 12 to 25 months.
With this timeframe, the complete Version 1.0 is expected to be available sometime in the latter part of 2027 or 2028.
The team has stated that there is no set release date as they don’t want to rush the development process. Rather, they will be working this game down through and through until they feel they are providing the experience that players deserve.
During a developer Q&A, the developer explained that the players’ feedback will be very important and it will play a major role in determining how long the game will stay in early access.
