[Watch] Nintendo Direct live stream for July 31, 2025

The Direct is finally happening & Nintendo fans are quite hyped right now!

All the rumors and insider information from NateTheHate were actually true. It has been officially announced that Nintendo Direct is happening and a live stream is scheduled for July 31, 2025.

The excitement among the Nintendo fans is pretty high right now as they are expecting some amazing announcement for Switch 2 in this Direct.

Nintendo Direct live stream timings & where to watch

The official Nintendo Direct live stream will start on July 31, 2025, at 6 AM PT/ 9 AM ET/ 6:30 PM IST.

What to expect?

It has been officially revealed that this event will be 25 minutes in length and will focus on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch games from the publishers.

There are leaked details that suggest that there won’t be any first-party games included, like Kirby Air Riders or Metroid Prime 4: Beyond.

However, fans can expect games and reveals from third parties like Borderlands 4 on Switch 2, The Duskbloods from FromSoftware, or Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.

The last Nintendo Direct was all about the Donkey Kong Bananza, which happened in June 2025. It would be exciting to see what Nintendo has in store for us.

There were some rumors that the Red Dead Redemption 2 port might be announced for Switch 2. However, NateTheHate has denied these rumors for now.

So don’t get disappointed when you don’t see Arthur and John today at the Direct. I am also looking forward to seeing if there will be any PlayStation games that might end up on Switch 2.

The recent job listing from Sony suggests that they are looking forward to expanding their games to other platforms.
